The Indiana Gourd Society through individual and organizational activities, promotes educational
efforts which advance an appreciation for the gourd's role and significance in past and present
cultures and for gourd cultivation, crafting and artistry.

History
The Indiana Gourd Society was organized in 1991 as the ETA chapter of the American Gourd Society.
Our purpose is to encourage growing and crafting of gourds in Indiana and to provide educational
information to our members.
